It takes a special perspective to believe that the vicious attack on our nation’s Capitol on January 6 was just a “molehill” and that right-wing fanatics – prompted by the lies of deposed aspiring dictator Donald Trump – who have tried to block the certification of the Electoral College vote which confirmed Joe Biden’s electoral victory and wanted to assassinate members of Congress, including the Speaker of the House and the Vice President, were only guilty “protesters” only “intrusion”.
These people are national terrorists and should be treated as such. None of those in Portland, Seattle, Manhattan, Kenosha, Minneapolis, or Los Angeles were literally trying to overthrow our democracy.

I decided to take a photo of the plant when I was still a baby. I found the plant 13 feet away in the hole I’m digging. It came from a Palo Verde tree. Following a rain, a seed of the tree must have stuck to my shoe and I stalked it in the hole.

Where Apple Valley?
The big question on everyone’s mind seems to be, “What is happening to the city of Apple Valley following its great legal loss?” “
Individuals and entities have the right to protect property from government seizure, especially when there is no reason to take it. When the government tries anyway but loses, like the city has done here, it cannot escape the hardships it has caused according to the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution. Simply put, the city is now beholden to Liberty Utilities.
The city claims to have spent $ 8,355,556.45 in legal fees and costs as of May 28, 2021. The damage caused to Liberty by the city could easily exceed this amount.
However, the city is already broke in my opinion, operating on a $ 10 million “payday loan” and millions of suspicious transfers from sewers, solid waste and Apple Valley Choice Energy funds – to say nothing of the hundreds. thousands of bogus “personnel costs”. “to administer the late GDR – to pay daily expenses while failing, year after year, to reduce its budget.
When you add up the real cost to the city of this reckless adventure, the need to pay off the “payday loan” and the need to pay off Liberty, we could see almost $ 30 million in the trash – millions that the city didn did not have to spare.
If the city is unable to pay, there is an alternative: Apple Valley could end its 33-year experience with the city and become unincorporated again, returning governance and operations to the County of San Bernardino.
Whatever the outcome, we expect there to be painful transitions, reductions, and changes, but at least we’ll have water.

Like a glove
The definition of fascism provided by AK Utqiagvik on August 15 fits the Republican Party today like a glove.
“A political philosophy, movement or regime which exalts the nation and often races above the individual and which represents a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader”: Republicans’ efforts to overthrow the will of the people America to keep lying and corruption, have twice impeached Donald Trump as their führer, resulting in the Jan.6 assault on our democracy and their unwavering refusal to accept Trump’s electoral defeat and stand down. fight for his “reinstatement”.
“Severe economic and social regiment”: Lower taxes for the rich, the good. Raising the minimum wage is wrong.
“Forced Suppression of the Opposition”: The adoption of new voter suppression laws in Republican-controlled states that primarily affect minorities.
And let’s not forget the horrific rise of white nationalism and hate crimes under the Trump administration, as they blame everything on Antifa and Black Lives Matter.
We don’t need to cite specific laws to see what’s going on in America right now. It’s fascism and it’s exclusively the Republican Party – especially under Trump, which now wants its “strongest” supporters (those who send him money) to bear a red card to identify themselves – that is trying to destroy our democracy and replace it with a right-wing dictatorship. This is how Nazi Germany began.

The current occupant of the White House has built a “sand house” by refusing to use the tools at his disposal – namely, he has totally ignored the advice of his military and intelligence advisers on how to honor the agreement to withdraw from Afghanistan in an orderly manner. He speaks softly without moxie to carry a big stick like our President Teddy Roosevelt. He only speaks and acts with a whimper, blaming others for his “mess.”
